Diaper service quality prefolds do a great job as diapers, burp cloths, wipes, spit rags, and all kinds of other things. You need diaper service quality, but not necessarily this brand. There is a slight learning curve but they are much cheaper than "fancy" cloth diapers and they are easier to care for as well!

You'll need some kind of diaper sprayer once the baby starts formula or solids, not necessarily this brand. A diaper sprayer really cuts down on the grossness.

This is a good carseat that my older child rode in until about age 4.

Something like this is a handy place to put the baby down for the first six months or so.

My mother sometimes fed the baby out of a bottle while I was at work, and she liked these way better than the fancier kind.

I had a diaper bag, but I thought the backpack was a lot easier to heft around. Any old backpack will do the job.

Although keeping baby in a coverless cotton diaper means diaper rash is unusual, when it does happen, this is safe for cotton (but not polyester) diapers and works very well.

I am old school; I like to pin the baby's diapers. Coverless time is great for preventing diaper rash, and pins are more secure than Snappis.

This is good for pumping once a day or less. I don't have experience with higher-level pumps although I have heard good things about Ameda.

Good for cleaning up baby messes of all kinds.
